About
Perch Pottery is a tiny studio located in Cape Cod, MA. The studio offers beautiful functional ceramics for table and garden, as well as birds nests boxes, maps & cards.
Here, chunks of porcelain formed with muddy hands take concepts of earth + sky and form them into planters with birds perched along the rim. Use one to pot your favorite plant, or as a centerpiece container. These vessels, each a unique fusion of wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques, combine a love of the natural world with functional design.
The studio is open by appointment. Contact to schedule.
Where to buy
This year, Perch Pottery is hard to find. You can see some works at the Cape Cod Art Center but otherwise it’s at events like the 2-day Craftfest Cotuit happening August 15-16, 2026.
Perch Pottery is a co-founder of the Cape Cod Pottery Trail which has been taking a great deal of creative energy to launch, but well worth it. Now in it’s 2nd year, the Trail is a self-guided tour of 19 pottery studios on the Upper Cape. You will find me there —with lots of work — as I haven’t been doing shows! Read more about it on my Events page.
If you’re out and about mid-Cape this fall, two Perch Pots will be included in the juried ceramics exhibition by Cape Cod Potters at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, MA, which is open September 3 – October 5, 2026.
